Funeral Leave
24.01
The Employer shall pay three (3) days bereavement leave to any Employee who suffered the loss of a member of their immediate family (parents, spouse, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, step-brothers, step-sisters, father-in-law, mother-in-law and grandparents.)
24.02
Employees on vacation, sick leave or worker’s compensation or on scheduled day off shall not be entitled to bereavement pay.
24.03
Bereavement leave pay shall be based upon the regular daily schedule and shall be paid at straight time even though one of the days leave occurs on an overtime day. Article 25 _ Coffee Breaks
