UNION SECURITY

When employees are required, the employer shall request the Union to furnish competent and qualified workers in the classifications listed in the Trade Appendix appended hereto and, insofar as possible, all workers, so furnished will be recruited from the jurisdiction of the Union. (The referral slip system may be used at the option of the Union, if the referral slip is used it shall show the employee's permanent address.) If after a period of forty-eight (48) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and designated holidays, from the time the request is made the Union is unable to supply the quantity and/or skills required, the employer may procure such workers elsewhere.
