A person, who is summoned by the board, a conciliation board, an arbitration board or an Industrial Inquiry Commission and attends as a witness, is entitled to an allowance for expenses, which shall be determined in accordance with the scale in force with respect to witnesses in the Supreme Court, and the person is entitled to not less than $5 a day.
