(1) The carrier vehicle of an elevating work platform shall be secured against inadvertent movement before a worker occupies the platform.

Where a manufacturer permits an elevating work platform to be elevated on sloping ground, the vehicle's wheels shall be secured according to the manufacturer's instructions and where no instructions have been provided, the wheels shall be chocked.
