(1) A swing stage shall have guardrails with
239(a)
a top rail of 1.07 metres high on all sides of the platform and an intermediate rail, located midway between the top rail and the platform floor, or top of the toeboard, where applicable; or
239(b)
other type of guarding providing equivalent protection and satisfactory to the minister.
239(2)
Guardrails on a swing stage shall be adequately supported and shall be able to withstand an ultimate load of 900N concentrated at any point on the top rail.
