PART XII POWERED MOBILE EQUIPMENT — Start of shift inspection

(1) An operator shall inspect the mobile equipment before the start of operation on the shift and after that where required to ensure the safe operating condition of the equipment and a defect or other condition affecting the safe operation of the equipment shall be reported immediately to the supervisor or employer.

A repair or adjustment necessary for the safe operation of the equipment shall be made before the equipment is used.
