(1) A control on a crane or hoist shall have its function clearly identified and be maintained in good condition.

Controls for a crane or hoist that are not operated from a cab shall be located to provide a safe distance between the operator and the load being lifted.

A pendant control for a crane or hoist shall be supported independently from its electrical conductors.
