(1) A cab window on a mobile crane shall be made of safety glazing material that meets the requirements of ANSI / SAE Z26.1 "American National Standard for Safety Glazing Materials for Glazing Motor Vehicles and Motor Vehicle Equipment Operating on Land Highways - Safety Code".

A cab window on a crane or hoist which is not a mobile crane may be made of laminated glass, tempered glass, wired glass or clear polycarbonate plastic.

An operator's cab window shall be kept clear and provide an unobstructed field of vision toward the load hook and shall have functional window wipers.
