PART XIV CRANES, HOISTS AND OTHER LIFTING EQUIPMENT — Uptravel limit

(1) A bridge, gantry or other overhead travelling crane shall be equipped with a device that prevents hook travel beyond the safe upper limit at all design hoist speeds.

The uptravel limit device required under subsection (1) shall be tested at the beginning of each shift, and the test results recorded in the equipment record system.
