PART XXIII DIVING AND OTHER MARINE OPERATIONS — Occupational diving operations

(1) The following standards respecting diving operations are adopted and constituted as part of these regulations:
467(a)
CAN/ CSA -Z275.4-02 "Competency Standard for Diving Operations"; and clause 7, SCUBA Supervisor (Restricted and Unrestricted) is struck and the following substituted:
467(b)
CAN/ CSA -Z275.2-04 "Occupational Safety Code for Diving Operations".
467(2)
Notwithstanding paragraph (1)(a), the following modifications to CAN/ CSA -Z275.4-02 "Competency Standard for Diving Operations" apply to seafood harvesting and aquaculture diving operations:
467(i)
individuals who have successfully completed a five-day Surface Safety Attendant's course approved by the commission may supervise seafood harvesting and aquaculture diving operations.
