In this Part
538(a)
"bulkhead" means a structure built for the purpose of impounding water or hydraulic backfill in a drift, cross-cut or other mine opening, and constructed in a manner as to completely close off the mine opening;
538(b)
"dam" means a structure built for the purpose of impounding water in a drift, cross-cut or other mine opening, and constructed in a manner as to permit an unobstructed overflow of the water;
538(c)
"remote control unit" means a remote control unit, system, device or controller that produces radio frequencies or radiates electromagnetic energy;
538(d)
"remote controlled equipment" means equipment that can be operated or moved by use of a remote control unit.
