An employer shall ensure that
671(a)
open pits are dewatered by sumps, ditching or other effective means;
671(b)
surface run-off is controlled by ditching or other effective means; and
671(c)
overburden dumps are maintained free from water run-off by ditching to channel water flows away from overburden material.
