Except as otherwise provided in these regulations, a crane, derrick, hoist and similar equipment shall be designed, constructed, erected, maintained, operated, inspected, disassembled and modified as specified by the manufacturer to meet the requirements of
288(a)
the applicable CSA standard;
288(b)
a professional engineer; or
288(c)
other standard acceptable to the minister.
