PART XIV CRANES, HOISTS AND OTHER LIFTING EQUIPMENT — Rated capacity

(1) The rated capacity of a crane or hoist shall not be exceeded.

The safe working load as determined by
290(a)
the original manufacturer of the equipment;
290(b)
a professional engineer; or
290(c)
other persons with qualifications acceptable to the minister shall not be exceeded.
