PART XIV CRANES, HOISTS AND OTHER LIFTING EQUIPMENT — Position of equipment

(1) Equipment shall be positioned so that no moving part of the equipment comes within 60 centimetres of an obstruction in an area accessible to workers.

Where the clearance required under subsection (1) cannot be provided, entry to an area referred to in subsection (1) shall be prevented by barriers or other effective means.
