(1) The strength of each guyline and its anchor shall exceed the breaking strength of the load-line rigging arrangement.

A guyline anchor shall be placed so that the interior angle between the guyline and the horizontal plane does not exceed 45 degrees.

Guylines shall be arranged so that the hoisting line pull in any direction is shared by 2 or more guys.
359(4)
Guylines and anchor systems, where certified by a professional engineer, may deviate from the requirements of subsections (1) to (3).
