(1) Electrical test equipment may be used by qualified workers if it meets the requirements of

CSA Standard C22.2 No. 160, "Voltage and Polarity Testers"; or
482(b)
CSA Standard CAN/ CSA -22.2 No. 231 Series-M89, CSA "Safety Requirements for Electrical and Electronic Measuring and Test Equipment".

Appropriate safe work procedures shall be established and followed for testing electrical equipment and circuits.
